BRRS at the 2022 Dubai Sevens

Bristol Rugby Referees Society was well represented at the 2022 Dubai Sevens, with eight members plying their trade in the winter sun.

It was fantastic to see Andy Claassen, Callum Hill, Oli Carey and Shane Mansfield strutting their stuff on the pitches in Dubai, with all four active match officials demonstrating some of the best refereeing Bristol has to offer across the three-day tournament.

The society is also pleased that Andy Weymouth, Ian Woodgate, Rob Stevens and Steve Leyshon were on hand to assist and support the running of the world's largest rugby tournament as match officials coaches, developers and selectors.

The Dubai Sevens is always a highlight in the society's calendar, and we are incredibly proud to continue to support the tournament with match officials. A huge and well-deserved congratulations is also extended to all of those selected to go this year!
