About the Creator
Bristol Referees Hub was founded by Callum Whittaker, a passionate advocate for sports integrity with years of experience officiating and mentoring new referees. Though based in Adelaide, Australia, Callum has deep ties to the Bristol refereeing community and created this platform out of a genuine desire to give back. He understands firsthand the challenges referees face — from inconsistent guidance to lack of support — and built this hub to fill that gap.
Why This Website Exists
After witnessing too many talented young referees leave the game due to confusion, isolation, or outdated resources, Callum knew something needed to change. Bristol Referees Hub was born from a simple idea: what if every referee had a single, reliable place to turn for trusted advice, community, and encouragement? This site is that place — built by a referee, for referees.
